Helping Others to Realise their Rights

Every child deserves the same rights but there’s a problem. The problem is that some children don’t have the same rights as us.

We have been learning about the children of Kroo Bay. Kroo Bay is a slum community in Africa. In Kroo Bay children die from malaria. The clinic sometimes can’t help them when they are sick. One child out of four dies before they are five. There is not enough medicine for everyone. Some families don’t have enough money to buy medicine.

In Kroo Bay when it floods the people have to move out of their houses. The Crocodile River is very dirt and polluted and that’s where the children wash and drink!

Save the children helps poor children in countries all around the world. I wish you could help me to buy a hairy yak from the wish list. It costs $49. I want it to help children’s rights become a reality.

So please tell your friends about it. Please.Every child deserves the same rights but there’s a problem. The problem is that some children don’t have the same rights as us.

The Vine Swings

I went to my Grandma's house. My parents, my brother and I went. We stayed two nights before we left to go to the farm. We had lots of fun. The most fun was when my cousins and I went to a pert of the farm where the trees bent over and vines were hanging down. We got to swing on them. There was clay that came out of the ground and we made stuff out of it. It was so fun. I think it was the best day of this year. I will remember that even when I am an old lady.
